Well, I wouldn't call it off-topic. There are viruses for the Mac OS. Yes they are rare, yes they were for much older versions of the OS, but that doesn't mean that there will not be more later on. Also, IMO, it wasn't a fight, it was a discussion over a statement that is false, full stop. And if I see a falsehood, I am going to correct it. No opinions involved.
