Hello,
I have an iBookG4 OS X 10.3.9
Recently, Mail seems VERY slow to open. I will have finished

forward for a couple minutes. did not used to do this. Anyone know
why this happens?
It may be confused. You don't mention what kind of mail account this
is, but I'd try rebuilding the inbox. Select it, and under the
Mailbox menu, select Rebuild. That rebuilds the indexes for your mail
messages, a corrupted index may be what's causing the slowness.
