My wife's original clamshell has 288megs of memory and has a 300 mhz G3. 
There's a three gig hard drive

Is it practical to install osX on this machine?  It would solve the browser
problem mentioned in my earlier email.  

Which version of X would tax this low end system least?  I can install any of
them.  It has built in usb but no firewire and cd but not DVD (which would
preclude an easy  Tiger install.)
