I have just acquired a Powerbook G4/Tiger & played some DVDs on it. Out of curiosity, I took a peek at the settings. And, indeed, like in Panther and on iBooks, one is limited to five changes of regions. First, this is stupid of Apple; home DVD players are region-free and do not have such silly limitations, second, what will happen after the last change? The player getting locked to the last changed region? And what to do then? Pave & burn & re-install Tiger? Any suggestions?
