Are there any freeware apps for OS9 OTHER than Toast? I am heartily SICK of making coasters and having chronic malfunctions using Toast 5.0.2. This app is refusing to see CDRs and givinbg me all sorts of error messages. Basically I now cannot copy a CD.
What is your exact setup? 5.0.2 was great for my on my 6400/9.1/G3. I could even run it (really sure it was 5.0.2 and not a 4.x version) on my 1400/G3/external SCSI Ricoh CD-R. CAVEAT: in 1X mode, progress of burn would not update, but if I left it alone, an hour or so later, it would be done and fine.
