BTW, does anyone know if I can install panther on a HD in my Digital Audio and move it to my beige? I don't think that Panther supports adb, but all my peripherals are usb.
I *think* i've done that. I've got a fair stack of beiges, most of which are now on 10.3.9. IIRC, the problem was only with _installing_ on the beige, not running it. At worst you'll have to boot into 9 and run XPostFacto once to get it to start on the drive. I've had better luck using the last of the 3.x releases of XPostFacto on 10.3.x on a beige. My attempts to use the latest and greatest 4.x versions didn't work.
