Hello all, My aunt is here from France and she would like to buy a comparatively inexpensive laptop to take back with her.
She doesn't speak any English and my mastery of French has declined severly since I arrived here in '76. Anyhow, she's obviously looking at XP 'books but when I mentioned to her that there are no viruses (yet) for OSX, her eyes lit up. What I need to know is: Will the laptop's power supply be able to handle the change in voltage? (I already know she'll have to buy one of those prong converters for Europe) If she buys a Powerbook or iBook, will she be able to change the operating system's language without completely reinstalling the OS? Those are the two major obstacles I can think of. If anyone has any other ideas, I'd like to hear them. Thanks, Eric in Goodyear, AZ -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
