DVD drives are also zone limited in whatever format they are interfaced
- usb or firewire etc - to enable region free the firmware in the drive must
be replaced as well as using the Regionx app with Apple's DVD Player.
So there are two limiters on the region change - one in the drive
firmware and one in the DVD Player software - freeing both will enable the
playing of DVDs from any region ad infinitum - freeing only one leaves the
other limit in place.
