scsi probe doesn't see the cd drive either (or my external scsi drive even though it mounts on the desktop.)
And what does Apple System Profiler show in it's Drives & Devices tab?
been getting errors with the apple audio extension when i boot the system:
IIRC- you need to disable the Toast driver as it gets in the way of the Apple one for the same device, altho you may need the Toast for some of your Toast burned media, one or the other, but not both enabled on the same Ext. Set. Sure hope my memory is working, and that this is of some help. Also, do know that ConflictCatcher v8-9 will rootout these types of problems in a wink of the eye, and that doing a getinfo on the Apple CD/DVD driver and putting a single space before it's name to change it's load order(in CC you only need to drag to change).
