Actually, the Apple Support area is quite good and easily searchable.
Just go to www.apple.com and click on the Support tab at the top right.
I also agree that your problem is likely a PRAM battery, a little 3.6V
lithium cell available from Radio Shack, as I recall, or other
full-line battery dealers.
