I've got a QS 933 that I put into my 533 Digital Audio with no problems, just did the 12v mod and it was plug and play.

If you are putting it into a Sawtooth or gigabit ethernet, you will have problems with the ide connector see above or:

I have heard some people say that earlier machines have problems with the level 3 cache. System Profiler sees mine with no problem.
