Another thing to check is was the item insured through
shipping. That is another way you can go if nothing
else.

The item was shipped USPS.
I took it in, but it shows no sign of breakage and the packaging is
in good shape.
So, they are not open to an insurance claim.
This of course belies the sellers claim that any markings, scratches
and wear marks
must have happened during shipping.
