Do these Mac notebooks/laptop drives have standard size ATA/IDE connectors

No

Can the drive from this be used, without adapters in a firewire enclosure
or in a tower case?

Yes http://www.geeks.com has them for sell.

Your link didn't work for me, page never loaded. You appear to be pointing me
to a site but nothing specific. How about providing more info.?

So the connectors are different (smaller, no doubt) but what are they called?
Mini ATA...? Were you directing me to an adapter... or maybe a FW drive case
for laptop drives. I actually already own two regular ATA firewire cases and
don't really want to buy another type of case. I'd prefer to find a way to use
one of the ones I have if it can be adapted or adapt the drive to put in
another computer to get the data off it.
