I don't know Sophos, but your comments about it, and their cry wolf
tactics have probably killed any remote interests I might have had.
Back in OS 7 through 9 I used Norton products. They became such a joke
after OSX arrived that I can't imagine ever buying any again.
I have been using VirusBarrier X for about two years now. What I was
trying to say in my previous post is that the program seems to do its
thing quietly in the background, without causing me any grief or
interruptions. Maybe VirusBarrier is just a placebo but it has never
disrupted my work.
