Stop that.

You removed the battery - which shuts down the PMU.

You replaced the battery - which boots the PMU.

Then you started hitting the CUDA repeatedly -- which crashes the PMU 
and starts unnecessarily draining the battery!

Just replace the battery.  OR leave the battery in, but hit the CUDA 
button ***ONCE*** after changing the motherboard configuration 
(adding/removing memory or a PCI card).

The PMU finally got completely booted.

But you've probably drained that battery quite a bit...  If you have 
problems booting in the future, replace the battery.
