I'm thinking of purchasing an iMac and I'm wondering how I could use my G4 DA with its multiple interna drives as a server. It would be great if it could be done with minimal loss of i/a speed. The G4 has an Acard 133 with 4 drives on it.
I imagine there are ethernet options as well as firewire and airport possibilities. It would be great to have something that is fast, transarent and sets up automatically. I'd like to have the G4 still functional as a machine for background renedring for Final Cut. Any ideas?
