There was a digital speaker option, which gave the model its name,  
but I have yet to encounter any DAs which actually had the digital  
output feature.

The basic 133 MHz bus, four PCI slot (plus AGP video), three 512 MB  
SDRAM slot mobo was reused as the Quicksilver, but with a new case  
and a different powering scheme in the QS.

In general, DAs are among Apple's best products, ever.
