OK--I'll have my friend try this.  When I was there and opened the  
Keychain Access app, there was nothing in the main panel, but now I  
realize that I wasn't looking in the "keychains" panel.  If there's a  
locked login there, I'll tell my friend to delete that.

Will it then automatically start another login keychain next time she  
logs in?  And from then on, she should be able to save passwords  
(like from Mail or whatever) in the keychain using the login password  
that I recently reset using the install disk?
