Memory bus vs I/O bus vs Burner speed. (and their respective orders of magnitude). Even if the memory was running slow, it would STILL be waaaaay faster than a DVD needs to do a fast burn. AND Toast has, afaik, NO logic to test such things; it just goes by reported CPU speed. - Dan. -- - Psychoceramic Emeritus; South Jersey, USA, Earth --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
