I ordered a replacement board from the Albuquerque, NM area, off eBay, and it is scheduled to arrive Monday or Tuesday. I forgot to check the LEM List, and see now there are a number of them there as well ... Any ideas on letting the QS system "rest" before disassembling it? Unplug from power strip ... remove battery ... then unplug everything from the board ... leave over the weekend, etc. Letting the things (capacitor?) discharge before starting to remove the cpu fan, cpu and finally logic board? After re-assembling the machine, and testing a bit with the current 10.5.6 system ... I should erase that OS X and re-Install 10.5? using the GeForce4 MX or the ATI Radeon 9800Pro as only add on card at installation time? Thanks for the Pre-thoughts.
