Well ... its taking the DVD data through the Sonnet Tempo ATA100 PCI
Card, so I rationalize, if QE On is taxing the PCI bus, it may choke
the PCI cards ...

I'm using the "Top" Slot1 (J12?) in my Yikes!. Is that the correct
one? or am I upside down in my thinking?

With QE on, Xbench 1.3 gives me ~18 overall. With QE Off, it gives
~19. That's about 5% less efficient if we can use Xbench total score
to measure efficiency ... all hardware/software things being equal.

Is this the correct PCI name for the card? (ATY,Bugsy_B ???):

ATY,RV280:

   Name: ATY,Bugsy_B
   Type: display
   Bus: PCI
   Slot: J12
   Vendor ID: 0x1002
   Device ID: 0x5960
   Subsystem Vendor ID: 0x1002
   Subsystem ID: 0x5960
   Revision ID: 0x0001

Overall info from ASP (looks good?):

ATI Radeon 9200:
