I owned a Mac Radeon 9200 PCI 128MB once and found it was not much better than a standard 32MB Radeon 7000. In my experience, the flashed PC Radeon PCI cards are much better than the Mac offerings. I mainly used the flashed VisionTek Xtasy Radeon 9100 64MB card which I found was much faster than either the ME7000 or 9200. I could notice the speed difference when scrolling, the Mac cards would scroll very slowly, and the 9100 was very quick. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
