I am using OS 10.4.11 in my MDD which has 2 GB of RAM.I installed the OS 10. 4
myself, but later when some trouble developed (would not start up) the
technician reinstalled OS 19.4.11 and the profiler states it as such. without
the install of CUPS the computer would not recognize having printer drivers. I
think that I am near a clean re-installed of OS.

?? If you're using OS X 10.2 or higher, you don't need to install
CUPS, as Apple adopted it as the default printing engine in OS X
starting then. If you're using 10.1.5, just upgrade your OS. OSX <
10.2 is well-nigh unusable.
As for the logfiles, again, this depends on what version of OSX you're
using.
