Hey, Sorry if this has been hashed over before, but I am new to the GList. I am trying to set up a media center on my G4 dual 450. Does anyone have recommendations regarding Software (free?) and the ability to use a remote with it? I happen to have a Pinnacle tv for mac hd mini stick, and would love to use the remote from that for this purpose. XBMC has a ppc port, so I am looking at that, but I wanted to hear about real setups other folks have succeeded (or failed) with.
I know EyeTV light comes with the pinnacle, but I was not to jazzed about it when I tried it out. For one thing, I want to be able to play videos encoded in many different formats, since that is the way my collection is.
