Only CPUs from Gig E and slower are straight drop ins.

Keep an eye on the LEM Swap List. I just saw a 1 (or was it 1.4?) GHz  
aftermarket processor for $45 that was snapped up almost immediately.  
Similar deals crop up frequently.
