I've never really liked Retrospect, or any program that hides your data in a proprietary wrapper. CCC is great because you don't need CCC to get at your data. Things are different, obviously, in enterprise systems where you're backing up to tape and such bit for home use, simply backing up to hard drives is much more reliable and cost-effective. Even Time Machine doesn't NEED time machine for you to get at your data, it's just a little tedious navigating through the forest of directories. -- Bruce Johnson "Wherever you go, there you are" B.
