It depends on which G3 iMac you're talking about. Slot-loading iMacs (with the exception of some 350 MHz units I've seen) are capable of using the original 802.11b Airport card, with a special adapter. Tray-loading G3 iMacs were devoid of an Airport slot, but I believe can go wireless using a USB adapter. Google "G3 iMac USB wi-fi" or search the Low End Mac web site. You should get plenty of hits as I've seen this subject come up many times over the years.
