Not always so simple with the tricks the manufacturers get up to make  
it hard!

I have even resorted to ultrasound (without success on that occasion)!

Best, of course, is to prevent it. If a printer is not used daily, I  
take the cartridge out and wet a bit of plastic wrap and sometimes  
add a bit of wet tissue too and wrap the lot tightly. And then put  
the lot into a plastic bag. To keep things moist.
