In defense of the Quicksilver ,mine is great. I had a 933 MHz put in
it and extra memory. I purchased those on Ebay. It has Leopard 5 on it. I
paid $65 for it originally and it came with Leopard. Complete with upgrades
,it cost about $200 ,including labor fees. I can't tell you how the guy
installed Leopard. Leopard is a little slow but ok. I am retired. I
consider this my chance to get Leopard without all the expense. It so far
has taken all of the updates with no problem. Besides that ,I consider that
Apple lost some of it's appeal when it went to Intel. I already have a good
Windows computer with Intel. This is just my 2 cents though.

I always advise people to avoid the Quicksilver. They seem to be the
ones that suffer dead power supply problem. Particularly the 733mhz like
I have which is now a door stop. Just go on ebay and see how many you
find described as: "parts only" or "won't power up" or "powers up then
shuts down"
I'd go for the MDD every time, but if you have to get the QS, go for
900mhz and above.
