I just tried to go to my high school reunion social networking site
(which is on Shutterfly). I seems that it requires Safari 3.0 or
higher, EXCEPT 3.0.4. Naturally, that's what I have on my MDD running
10.4. Being a naturally suspicious person, I want to know why this
site would hate 3.0.4 so much before I download an upgrade just to
make Shutterfly happy. Does anybody know? Should I hate Safari 3.0.4
too?
Never heard of this. Perhaps something is coded to incorrectly check
the browser version? Exactly what/where says it doesn't like Safari 3.0.4?
Shutterfly's help area says:
- Firefox 2.0 or higher for PC or Mac
- Safari 2.0 or higher for Mac
Aside... Since you're running Tiger, you should be fully updated to
10.4.11 and Safari 4.0.5...

why? I don't use safari. don't even know installed vs.
