I have a movie that's a .mkv file 4.46 GBs I want to burn it to a DVD but I can't get Toast 10 to see it as an image I also tried Toast 8 and 6 still no cigar. Is this spometing I can do?

An easier but probably longer way way to convert .MKV for a 'MAC' user is to use QuickTime- but you need to have installed Perian - http://www.perian.org/ then play your .MKV in QuickTime player - wait until player has read the whole file (see grey progress bar immediately below video frame itself): at which point you can go to File/save as and save it to your preference - depending on your Mac this could be a long job - but you can save it to something (e.g. .AVI, or .MOV, or MP4) recognisable by Toast or easily converted by your video converter of choice (e.g. MPEG Streamclip, Video Converter etc.)
