I never thought of that. I thought the OS remained intact and the incremental 
backups were just that. When mine gets too full I increase the drive capacity 
or do a CCC and start over again. My TM is a 1TB my main is a 500. I go back to 
Feb at the moment I have 90 GBs of space left on the TM. All my movie and music 
files are on separate drives to keep the working drive and TM in line.
