Sorry, wrong again:

pre-ATA is also called IDE
ATA-1 is also called ATA, IDE
ATA-2 is also called EIDE, Fast IDE, Fast ATA, Ultra ATA
ATA-3 is also called EIDE
ATA/ATAPI-4 is also called ATA-4, Ultra ATA/33
ATA/ATAPI-5 is also called ATA-5, Ultra ATA/66
ATA/ATAPI-6 is also called ATA-6, Ultra ATA/100
ATA/ATAPI-7 is also called ATA-7, Ultra ATA/133

Power Mac G4 faster bus:
PCI ..................... ATA-4 i.e. Ultra-ATA/33
AGP GE DA QS QS2002 ..... ATA-5 i.e. Ultra-ATA/66
MDD FW800 ............... ATA-6 i.e. Ultra-ATA/100

Power Mac G4 slower bus (mostly for optical drive):
PCI AGP GE DA QS QS2002 . ATA-3 i.e. EIDE
MDD FW800 ............... 2x ATA-5 i.e. Ultra-ATA/66

At least for models that need the Open Firmware workaround to enable LBA-48
access (to be able to conveniently use > 128 GiB = 137 GB disk drives) these
devices are always called ATA-3 and ATA-4 in Open Firmware.

Please, tell me if I'm wrong.

Cheers,
Andreas aka Mac User #330250
