the bottom line Air has only the flash drive and skinny to recommend it. As my high school daughter told her friend in the apple store one, day, "It's a poser computer for looking pretty in coffee shops- no dvd, get a macbook instead." She was glared at by the genius in the area. If I was going to spend a grand on a computer, I certainly would not buy one slower that my current G5!
