This sounds like a miss seated, miss-matched or incorrectly placed RAM problem to me. The G5 PowerMacs are real touchy when it comes to RAM issues. Be sure the slots are clean and the RAM pins are clean, some times I have to reseat a couple of times to get it right. BTJM
