Please add model and operating system and version for each Mac.

File Sharing, not Screen Sharing, is what you want. At least one of the Macs 
has to have file sharing enabled so it can behave as a server. If one of the 
Macs is running in classic mode there are other problems like enabling file 
sharing over IP .
