Thank you all for your input. I decided to format the drive and start fresh, as the PowerMac G3 came with the HD drive and Mac OS 8.6 installed from previous owner. I tried to boot up with original Mac OS 8.6 disk in DVD drive holding the 'C' key, and it would go straight to the HD. My guess is that the original disk is not a boot up disk, but how can I start fresh? Any ideas?
