A few years ago a friend's cat chewed up the antenna on my old G5, 1.8.
Now I need it! Finding a replacement seems rather expensive though.
Look at this price!
https://www.macpartsdepot.com/922-6043-airport-external-antenna-mac-pro-g5-powermac.html?gclid=CKWWsaHl284CFcSCfgodRqwK2w
$55! That's just the antenna.
Are there any workarounds? Could one screw something into the card
(there is a place to screw in the antenna) and then use a piece of
wire to get the antenna? Or can I take the little antennae I have on
some old wireless cards hanging around here and attach it to the
wireless card on the G5?
Or does someone have one of those little T antennas they'd be willing
to sell me at a decent (for me!) price?
