Yes, that’s actually the official means of re-blessing the System folder, now I 
recall. I only ever had that happen once or twice though; more often than not 
the issue was a corrupted System or boot volume.

It was SO much nicer when OSX came along with a much more solid OS base; the 
old OS had pretty much reached the point of total collapse under the weight of 
all the kludges.
