Thank you very much for the information. For the last part of using ec2 instances at aws, is there an option that I can control galaxy's operation at aws site? This way I can start/stop the instance when I need. I am not willing to terminate the instance since everything will be lost.
Meantime, I am wondering the data structure on ec2 galaxy instance. Where is the location for the data uploaded from the galaxy gui? If I ssh the Ubuntu, where is the data directory for holding the work? Lastly, for aws, you don't *have* to terminate the ec2 instance and start it back up when you want to use it, but remember that for every hour of use Amazon does bill you.
