And by saying "workaround", I am too kind. :-) You are just spoofing the installation by providing the missing file with a symbolic link. But the expected file may be different for sure! Hopefully, all the libtool files (*.la, *.lai...) generated for gambas components are not used at all by the interpreter, which loads the "*.so" files directly.
