When you released Sudocu, I remember it being in the issue of Audyssey. Ron
also specifically tried to get people to review it when he sent reminders
for reviews. There are no limitations as to the popularity of games being
announced in Audyssey. However, it certainly effects how likely you are to
get reviews sent in. Ron does his best with what he has to work with which
isn't always very much at all. It was nice when Audyssey had a staff of
people who enjoyed specific types of games. I could then be confident that
any new game would have at least one actual review. Those days are long over
though. On the plus side, there's aparently a list for people interested in
playing sudocu blind. Perhaps, they'll be able to burn some brain cells and
give us a nice review of the various versions out there. I always hated
seeing games being released and then having nobody be willing to put on
their thinking caps and write something about their entertainment. That
sense of underappreciation was a major factor in why I resigned as editor
when I did. Had the community been more willing to contribute instead of
just gobble up games, I might have stuck around longer.
