How do I resolve Error 429 - ActiveX control cannot create object? This problem is corrected by re-registering the DAO350.dll.
The instructions are from Microsoft Knowledge Base article 292054: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;292054. You can get a copy of the DAO350.dll file from a computer where MS Office is working correctly, or you can obtain a copy of DAO350.dll at the following FTP address: ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/softlib/mslfiles/ To register DAO350.dll, follow the following steps. When typing the filename into the Run dialog box, be sure to enter it exactly as shown below. Click Start, and then click Run.
