Hi Nicole,

You do understand he was only joking right? He wasn't at all serious.

As for your attitude about piracy you have made it perfectly clear,
but its still wrong. Let me put it to you in words maybe you can
understand.

Let's assume you just spent months perhaps a couple of years for
several hours a day, every day working on a game or some other
project. Maybe you even spent a few hundred dollars on buying sounds,
music, and voice actors to make this game. Now, several people decide
for whatever reason they aren't going to pay you for your time and
hard work. They decide to just steel it from you. wouldn't that make
you feel just a slightest bit angry at them?

That's exactly how I and other software developers feel. We are very
angry to see our time and hard work stolen by someone who probably has
not the slightest clue how much time and work went into creating that
product.. They have no clue how much money was spent on sounds, music,
and voice acting. All they care about is getting something for free
and make excuses why they had to steel it.

Now, I am not a vindictive person, but I personally feel if you and
other pirates spent a few days in jail I think you would seriously
reconsider steeling games and other programs for the heck of it. If
you walked into Wal-Mart and stole a music CD or movie on DVD and got
caught you would probably spend 90 days in jail. Why shouldn't you be
punished for steeling a game from a developer?
