Hi Shaun, That may be, but let's think of a constructive way to help Jim out besides rewriting all his games in something else other than VB 6. I agree we as a community really do need to move away from legacy programming languages and technologies long term, but for the moment there are things we can do to help Jim make his games more compatible with newer operating systems besides a complete rewrite. Having Jim save log files, games, etc to the user's documents folder is one way of fixing some issues with UAC without rewriting each and every game from scratch.
