Hasbro Monopoly Empire.
The folks at Hasbro have never had a problem letting everything from towns
to universities to movies to big-name commercial brands slap their names on
licensed versions of Monopoly, but a new version of the classic board game
is unabashedly all about learning the value of today's biggest fast food,
retail, tech, and entertainment companies, everything a growing child needs
to get ahead!
This is absolutely not a joke, the game is already available for pre-order
from Target, which also happens to be one of the many brands you'll find
replacing favorites like and Marvin Gardens and B&O Railroad.
The Hasbro website doesn't list all the brands involved in the game
individually, but here are the ones we've figured out just from what can be
seen in promo images:

Coca-Cola
Ducati

Electronic Arts Sports
Fender
Intel
JetBlue
McDonald's
Nerf
Nestle
Paramount
Samsung

It looks like Coca-Cola and Samsung must have paid Hasbro the most money, as
these brands get the high-priced slots taken up by Boardwalk and Park Place,
respectively, in the original game.
Meanwhile, Nerf gets the bottom-dollar Mediterranean Avenue position on the
board, followed by Transformers in the Baltic Avenue spot. Of course, these
are both Hasbro brands, likely inserted because no outside brand would want
to be associated with the low-rent district on the Monopoly board.
The branding continues on to the gold brand tokens used to play the game
are, an Xbox controller, an original clasic Coca-Cola bottle, Large McDonald's
fries, a Paramount Movie Directors clapboard slate, a Chevy car, and a
Ducati motorcycle.
Roadblocks come in the form of hostile takeovers or stock market crashes,
and each game must be completed in fewer than 30 minutes.
It's available on websites like Target ($24.99) and Toys R Us ($19.99).
