Hi Dark, I do understand that a Mud client involves something like a
browser and one should know how to connect to it. Here's a situation: 1.
I'm connected to the mud; 2. I write down a command so my character will
do something; 3. Does that command actually go to the Mud in actual game
play? There is this Mud I'd like to play called The Inquisition: Legacy
and I wish to write down a description for my character but as far as I
can see, it isn't sent to the Mud. Also I think I have what might be
called syntax problems. O I can write directions to travel, but actually
editing long stuff like descriptions and such or knowing how to get a
satisfactory result from a command is a hit-or-miss prospect. It's
rather like the Circumlocution Office in Charles Dickens' Little Dorrit,
where the hapless person finds him/herself going round in circles, ergo,
going nowhere for the foreseeable future. Regards, Kim Friedman.
