Hi Charlse.

I know what you mean about Mississippi being a more advanced monopoly with added craziness, but for me the lack of other players either human online or computer very much takes the fun out of the game. As a single player thing I just buy a certain commodity and then just wait for it to turn up on sale. i can see the events and such would be much more fun with other people, seeing what happened to them, having events that affected all players etc, but as a single player experience Mississippi just never felt enough for me, and while it does have the possibility of playing with other people, I've not particularly got other people who would play that sort of computer game with me.

I have heard there are chat rooms and such that do play mississippi multiplayer online, though those sorts of chat rooms are less my thing and that is something that could be done with any game. but I'd myself prefer a propper online option, or at least other computer controled players to just make the thing have a bit more to it.

It's a shame, there's a lot I like in the game, but it just doesn't quite get there for me due to the lack of interest in a one player game.

Beware the Grue!

Dark.
