Shaun: The XBox 360 controllers are blue tooth, AKA wireless, so you don't need to have room on your desk for it. If you don't have room for it on your desk you can simply stick it in a desk drawer, put it in your laptop case, or stash it somewhere else when not in use. This is one advantage of going wireless as you don't have to have everything hooked up to your computer all the time. Just take it out and use it when needed.
