Hi John,

That's actually my favorite way to play Trek 2000. I take the war to
the enemy, hit them before they can hit me, and I often times rip the
heart and soul out of their invasion fleet before they hit Federation
space.

My favorite tactic is to invade enemy space, find one of their
starbases, and attack it to get every enemy ship in the area running.
When they all come in range I drop a mine blowing up several enemy
ships, their station, and what's leftover I turn around and blow apart
with phasers and photons. I am absolutely ruthless.
